Anti-Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy

Updated: May 2025

1. Policy statement

Yappl is committed to conducting business ethically and with integrity. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to ensuring that there is no slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chain.

2. Purpose of This Policy

This policy outlines our responsibilities in preventing slavery and human trafficking and sets out the steps we take to mitigate risks within our operations and supply chains, in compliance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.

3. Our Business

We are a UK-based communications and connectivity provider serving businesses nationwide.

4. Our Supply Chains

We work with a range of suppliers and partners in the UK and internationally. We aim to build long-term relationships with suppliers who share our commitment to high ethical standards, including the prevention of modern slavery.

5. Due Diligence & Risk Management

We carry out due diligence on suppliers and partners where appropriate, particularly where there may be a higher risk of modern slavery or human trafficking. This includes:

  • Evaluating the modern slavery and human trafficking risks of new suppliers.
  • Requiring confirmation that they comply with the Modern Slavery Act.
  • Reserving the right to audit or request further information if concerns arise.

6. Training & Awareness

We are committed to raising awareness of modern slavery within our organisation. Where relevant, employees involved in procurement or supplier management will receive training on recognising and addressing potential risks.

7. Reporting Concerns

All employees, suppliers, and contractors are encouraged to report any concerns related to modern slavery or human trafficking. Reports can be made confidentially, and we will investigate and take appropriate action.

8. Responsibility for This Policy

Senior management has overall responsibility for ensuring this policy complies with our legal and ethical obligations. Managers at all levels are responsible for ensuring those reporting to them understand and comply with it.

9. Review & Updates

This policy is reviewed annually and updated where necessary to ensure its effectiveness. It was last reviewed on 20 May 2025.
